natural1992: Our introduction to Splat. Children's toothpaste from 2 to 6 years.

Active components

The main active ingredients of toothpaste (hereinafter referred to as GP) are casein hydrolyzate and calcium hydroxyapatite. They are the ones “responsible” for protecting and strengthening tooth enamel. The lactic enzymes present in Splat for children, in tandem with licorice tree extract, prevent the accumulation of plaque on teeth, effectively fight harmful bacteria living in the oral cavity, and increase local immunity.

L-arginin relieves pain during teething, soothes gums, relieves hyperemia and swelling. Extracts of medicinal plants such as calendula, chamomile, cranberry and yarrow eliminate active inflammatory processes in the mouth and prevent their occurrence. Aloe Vera gel moisturizes and soothes the oral mucosa.

In order for Splat toothpaste for children to be safe, it contains alcohol, fluoride ions, surfactants and aggressive abrasive elements.

Children's toothpaste SPLAT Juicy - reviews

Advantages:

  • does not foam

Flaws:

  • small packaging
  • ends quickly
  • nasty consistency
  • terrible taste

You always want to give your baby the best. You always choose what you consider to be of high quality. Alas, sometimes your instincts let you down. It turned out so sad with this pasta.

My daughter started taking care of her teeth from the appearance of her first tooth - with the help of a silicone brush.

But now it's time for toothpaste. The first was Silcamed for children from birth. Everything was fine.

Once again the store decided to buy Splat, a well-known brand with good reviews. We got the cherry flavor.

In appearance, the common one is slightly yellowish or pinkish.

But the consistency is something with something! Slimy, disgusting. One plus: the paste hardly foams, which means it contains little sodium lauryl sulfate.

It may, of course, “intensely strengthen”, but the Taste is disgusting, as if you had eaten a cherry and chewed on a bitter pit.

The child completely refused to brush his teeth.

In addition to all the disadvantages, small volume, expensive price.

I do not recommend this toothpaste to anyone. Money thrown away.

Advantages:

  • Not very expensive, 55 rubles at Fixprice.

Flaws:

  • Faint odor
  • Doesn't clean teeth well
  • no freshness in the mouth.

We have been using Splat toothpaste for four years, and my husband and I have tried different ones. I really like it. I bought my daughter Splat Juicy, ice cream flavored. But we were very disappointed. Firstly, there is almost no smell (children are not interested). Secondly, there is no foam, which is very unusual (although I once watched a program, and there the doctor said that the less foam in cosmetics, the better, supposedly less harm). Thirdly, there is absolutely no feeling of cleanliness of the teeth, on the contrary, there is some kind of indelible plaque for a long time. I've brushed my teeth with Splat Junior myself a few times and I didn't like it. And the child too. We don't use this paste anymore.

Hello!!! Now it's time to choose toothpaste for your daughter. We like to brush our teeth and before this we had a toothpaste that satisfied both my daughter and me. But I want to try something else. We chose this pasta. We use this company ourselves and are completely satisfied. But this is a complete failure for me. When we tried it, I was upset, I thought, well, as always, I didn’t read the reviews and bought it. And when I looked in, I was surprised, the reviews were good! So I would have bought it anyway) well, never mind, but I’ll write my opinion on the paste. So.

TASTE

I tried it myself. Pleasant, but clearly too much for a child. Very strong, even stings a little in the mouth. My daughter didn’t like it either, she even bulged her eyes from the taste.

CONSENTENCE

Disgusting. Even if the taste was good, I wouldn’t buy it precisely because of this minus. The paste doesn’t foam at all, but okay, it doesn’t foam, it doesn’t even smear, but almost all falls into the brush. This is the first time I've seen such pasta. I don’t understand what it will clean if most of the paste remains inside the brush. And then washing the brush is a whole problem. Even under high pressure, it barely washes away pieces of failed pasta.

I don’t know how the paste actually works, in terms of the manufacturer’s promises, about filling microcracks and everything else, we didn’t have time to check it twice. For the 3rd time, the child simply did not brush his teeth with this paste. She pointed to her old toothpaste and said I would clean it with this one. My daughter and I did not appreciate the pasta at all.

I wanted to add some variety and I bought this pasta. I fell for the beautiful words on the box about nanoparticles that seal the enamel against caries and thinning. 35 ml of this miracle paste cost 90 rubles and I decided to try it - what if this paste also clogs something in my child and there will be no caries, the teeth will become white and beautiful, as promised on the packaging. I will say right away that my son’s teeth are not very good - the enamel is brown, the teeth are not the strongest (doctors say because of antibiotics at an early age). And so, we started brushing our teeth in the evening, and already at night a very strong allergic reaction appeared - a severe cough with mucous discharge from the nose and red eyes. Yes, the child is allergic anyway, but so much so to pasta! I tried to brush my daughter’s teeth with the same paste - it works fine, but I didn’t see any effect. None. Moreover, it foams at all, hangs like a sausage on the brush and doesn’t even soften. In short, it sucks on all fronts, and not pasta.

Reviews

Maria, 28 years old, Yekaterinburg: Excellent toothpastes for children with a bright design, pleasant aroma and reasonable price. At one time, it was Splat toothpaste that helped me teach my little son to brush his teeth twice a day and perceive this activity as a game.

Alexandra, 35 years old, pediatric dentist, Moscow: Young parents should carefully choose toothpastes for their children. Most manufacturers of these hygiene products develop special series designed specifically for the care of baby teeth - such products are free of a large number of abrasives and synthetic additives, and are harmless to digestion if swallowed. I recommend that parents of their young patients pay attention to toothpastes for children of the Splat brand - affordable, safe products with a natural composition. From personal experience I will say that Splat does a good job of removing plaque accumulated on enamel, preventing the development of caries and inflammatory processes in the mouth, and has a pleasant fruity aroma.

Natalya, 29 years old, Ufa: A good toothpaste at a reasonable price, sold in a beautiful tube, smells good, the child enjoys brushing his teeth with this product.

So, Splat for children is a series of natural toothpastes designed for daily care of baby teeth. These products do not contain fluoride, surfactants and other synthetic additives, are safe when swallowed, and do not cause allergic reactions. Dentists recommend Splat for children (from birth to 8 years).

natural1992: Our introduction to Splat. Children's toothpaste from 2 to 6 years.

I am very careful when choosing toothpaste for a child, much more carefully than when buying an adult. If before I didn’t pay attention to the ingredients and took the first one I came across in a children’s store, now before buying I look at reviews from mothers of eco-bloggers and, most importantly, check the ingredients.

I have heard about the SPLAT company for a long time, including coming across reviews on Ecogolic. When I saw baby toothpaste from this manufacturer in a regular supermarket, I was very surprised. After looking at the composition, I decided to try it.

For me, the deciding factor for the purchase was the fact that it does not contain fluoride.

Place of purchase supermarket Pyaterochka. Pasta is sold freely everywhere. You can buy at any time and not have to wait for an order.

I bought it at a price of 140 rubles. Prices vary from 110 to 180 rubles

Volume 50 ml

Country of origin: Russian Federation

The manufacturer offers us a new Luctatol system. It is based on a plant previously unknown to me, Japanese licorice.

A huge plus is that the paste is not dangerous if swallowed. This is important for us, since a child can easily swallow it.

The product is suitable from 2 to 6 years.

In terms of external design, the paste is standard. Packed in a cardboard box.

All expiration dates are strictly observed.

The toothpaste itself is in the form of a jar - a tube. With the image of a bunny, he has strawberries and cherries in his paws.

Toothpaste composition:

Aqua, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Glycerin, Hydrated Silica, Calcium Hydroxyapatite, Cellulose Gum, Potassium Thiocyanate, Lactoferrin, Lactoperoxidase, Glucose Oxidase, Glucose Pentaacetate, Aroma, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Xanthan Gum, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Lonicera Caprifolium Flower Extract, Lonicera Japonica Flower Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Vitis Vinifera Seed Extract, Bergenia Crassifolia Leaf Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Arginine, Capsanthin/Capsorubin, Cl 75470, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Xanthophylls, Tocopherol, Absorbyl Palmitate, Zea Mays Starch, Maltitol, Citric Acid, Pentylene Glycol.

Not all components could be tested for safety. But the ones that turned out are, in principle, natural. I didn’t find any particularly dangerous components there.

I hope that the manufacturer is honest and that he talked about all the components in the composition. I don’t want to think that for children, especially as young as 2 years old, something really dangerous could be put in them.

There really is no fluorine in the composition, the brand did not deceive us on this. At the beginning of the composition there is a moisturizing component glycerin, and in the middle there is another moisturizer aloe vera. Other benefits include corn, sunflower extract, arginine, honeysuckle, grapes and licorice.

In addition to fluoride, the paste does not contain SLS, parabens, mint, or petroleum products.

The paste has a hinged lid and the dispenser is tight. The product does not come out easily, but at least more paste does not come out than necessary. A pea is enough for a child.

From a purely external perspective, the paste looks very attractive.

Pink, cute shade. The paste is very thick, does not spread and does not slide off the toothbrush. The texture is stretchy.

But I had questions about the taste of the pasta. The child, of course, liked the pasta. It's berry and sweet. But for me it is not a natural, chemical, slightly rubbery taste. Very strange, viscous. I know what all-natural children's toothpastes taste like, they are more natural and don't have that rubbery taste.

The toothpaste cleanses tooth enamel well and leaves no plaque behind. While I myself brush the child’s teeth and then check whether I have thoroughly cleaned the oral cavity of food debris. The paste spreads easily over the teeth and does not stick to the mouth. I checked it on myself.

We have already finished almost the entire tube and I am happy with this paste. For the masses of the market, the organic option is not even bad. I will advise you to buy, and I will probably repeat the purchase myself.
