The plates are based on a crystal (sapphire) and various metals to strengthen it. This bracket system is translucent. And despite the fact that it is installed on the front surface of the teeth (unlike Incognito), it is nevertheless very invisible when used.
Modern ceramic plates do not react with salivary enzymes or various foods and do not change their color (transparency) while worn. They are smooth, with rounded corners, which avoids the formation of plaque or tartar. The design of the grooves allows the orthodontist to position the bracket as accurately as possible.
Clarity SL braces include SmartClip self-ligating technology and are passive, self-ligating, open-slot ceramic brackets with a classic double bracket design. The grooves allow the archwires to move, allowing for a gentler alignment of the teeth.
Flaws
Despite the many innovative solutions of the manufacturer, Quick braces have several disadvantages:

How long does the treatment last?
Quick metal solutions require minimal treatment times. In addition, the unique design makes it possible to equip the system with additional components that will create an enhanced effect on individual teeth. Thus, the course lasts on average about a year, even in the presence of complex defects of the dental system.
As for ceramic solutions, it is worth paying attention to the self-ligating type of construction, which also allows for faster treatment. As a rule, the duration of the course in this case is 1.5-2 years, however, if it is necessary to correct complex anomalies, the period can be increased.
Self-ligating braces Damon Q
Damon self-ligating braces provide greater patient comfort, shorter treatment duration and time, and more precise control of tooth movement.
All Damon braces have reduced friction. This allows us to both reduce the time of use of the systems and the range of required tooth displacement. This also reduces the number of visits to the orthodontist for wire replacement.
Damon Q series braces are made from metal alloys that do not enter into oxidative processes with saliva and do not change their color. The arc is attached to the plates by means of a special metal groove, which is closed with a lid, forming a tube in which the arc is located.
Dimon's Q series is distinguished by its plate sizes, which are half the size of its metal counterparts and look like rhinestones on teeth. When using this design of braces, the forces that are optimal for the body are developed, which are sufficient to stimulate bone activity and move teeth, but do not disrupt the blood supply to the periodontium!
The absence of ligatures in Damon braces allows you to maintain the level of oral hygiene and does not contribute to the formation of tartar or plaque.
Contraindications
The treatment has several contraindications. If the following problems occur, the doctor will most likely refuse to install the structure:
- Poor oral care;
- Cracks, chalky spots on the enamel;
- Untreated caries;
- A large number of fillings, crowns on teeth;
