How is treatment performed with WIN braces?

Treatment with WIN braces begins with taking an impression of the patient's jaws. This data is sent to the laboratory of DW Lingual Systems GmbH in Germany. There, the impression is digitized and a computer setup model of the treatment result is created in 3D format. After this, the attending physician calculates the location of the braces and the shape of the arches. The patient-specific WIN lingual brace system is manufactured using robotic equipment. Typically this process takes about three months, only after which the doctor invites the patient for installation.

The procedure for fixing the WIN system is not much different from the algorithm for installing other types of braces.
